Plant-based food producer Raglan Food Co has been in full swing for the last few months, bringing customers and suppliers plenty of 'new'. Their packaging has had a bit of a zhuzh, and their new labels (aimed at calling out flavour and provenance) are popping on supermarket shelves thanks to some handy design work from Marx Design and Alnmakes.
Not only has Raglan Food Co. undertaken a brand refresh, but they've also launched two new coconut yoghurt ranges – a refreshed Gourmet range (400g) in five 'fancy' flavours and a new on-the-go Snackable range (150g), which launched this week.
Their Gourmet Range, which has flown off shelves since launching, includes a Decadent Raspberry, Irresistible Blackcurrant, Natural Greek Style and two new coconut yoghurts - a Luscious Lemon and a Dreamy Vanilla Bean - both proving to be trendy additions to the Raglan family.
The launch of their Snackable range this week comes after years of requests for a single-serve option that was lunch box friendly and several requests from export markets. To meet this demand, Raglan Food Co. launched their convenient range in four flavours in a 150g FSC-Certified paperboard pottle - perfect for lunch boxes, office snacks and on-the-go goodness.
Sustainability continues to be a primary focus for the Climate Positive Certified company, so while they work with their packaging supplier on a paper-based cup with a water-soluble lining (12 to 18 months away), they've partnered with rePurpose Global on Plastic Neutral Certification, paying to offset the plastic use from the lining layer of their current pottle by removing the same amount of plastic (or more) from the environment. The company have chosen to focus on projects in Indonesia, precisely where their coconuts are sourced.
Raglan Food Co's head of marketing, Sarah Phillipps, said the refresh and new formats are all part of the company's ethos of encouraging more plant-based eating.
