SPEED-DATING EVENT TO CONNECT STUDENTS AND FMCG INDUSTRY

The FGC Talent Working Group and Auckland University are teaming up to raise awareness and promote FMCG as an industry of choice for students.

On 28 March, they will be holding their first FMCG Industry Speed Dating event, and are now looking for suppliers who are interested in meeting some potential talent. Candidates will move around companies, each having five to seven minutes to chat about their career options. The event will run for about two hours, and drinks, nibbles and a suggested prep sheet will be provided.

“All we need from you is your participation and two or three people from your company who can conduct the dating sessions,” said the FGC. “This is a cost-effective and speedy way of identifying talent or promoting your employment brand even if you don’t have a current role.”
