FreshChoice Hauraki Corner opened its doors this morning, marking the very first FreshChoice on Auckland’s iconic North Shore.
The celebration included a performance by the Hauraki School Kapa Haka group, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, cake-cutting, giveaways, and exclusive opening deals, including a double points Everyday Reward offer for the first month.
As a North Shore local, owner-operator Sanjesh Chauhan was proud to bring the FreshChoice brand to the Hauraki Corner, while his son, Vikram, will continue to operate FreshChoice Titirangi.
“We’ve spent ten years at Titirangi learning how to tailor a store to its neighbourhood, knowing customers by name, understanding what they want on the shelves, and backing local where we can. We’re bringing all of that to Hauraki Corner," he said.
FreshChoice Executive General Manager Tim Cartwright added that the new store reflected the strength of the FreshChoice locally-led business model.
“Sanjesh is well known to the Titirangi community, and I’m confident that his team will deliver an exceptional, community-focused grocery experience here at Hauraki Corner.”
