Nohbo has created shampoo made from all-natural ingredients cased in packaging that is entirely plastic-free. The packaging dissolves in water leaving the shampoo behind. Benjamin Stern came up with the idea for his company when he was 14 years old and has been working on his product since. The product’s outer coat melts in water.
“Nohbo Drops are comprised of two parts, an outer film utilising the most advanced up-and-coming water-soluble technology, alongside a moisturising base comprised of shampoo, conditioner, body wash or shaving cream,” said Nohbo.
With his team, Stern has worked on the product over the last few years and received money for research from Shark Tank.
“The goal is to collect data and produce a case study that will show potential partners that the drops are feasible in this market. Our goal is to spread Nohbo through retail with large companies like L’Oreal and Dove so that we can be in every Walgreens and CVS in the world. That’s where we’re going to make the biggest difference,” said Stern.
The single-serve drops of shampoo, cleaners and conditioners are free of parabens, preservatives and artificial fragrances.
