Cadbury has named Christchurch as the Caramilk capital of New Zealand.

In celebration of the announcement, fans of the milk-flavoured chocolate bar will be treated to a two-week Caramilk pop-up café, between November 7 to November 22. The pop up was created in partnership with iconic Christchurch central city café C1 Espresso. A dessert menu featuring Caramilk as the main ingredient will also be available to customers.

“We can’t think of a more worthy town to be awarded the Caramilk Capital than Christchurch,” said Will Papesch, head of marketing at Cadbury New Zealand. “These fans deserve something extraordinary. Which is why partnering with C1 on the Caramilk Café was a no-brainer as they are known for their innovation, creativity and convivial atmosphere. There was no better place to thank Caramilk fans.”

The chocolate manufacturer has also teamed up with local artist Jacob Yikes to create a mural signifying Christchurch as the Caramilk capital.
