NZ Beverage Council Community Out Reach

New Zealand Beverage Council is ready to receive feedback to inform emergency response and economic recovery teams about the needs of their members and suppliers after the events of Cyclone Gabrielle.

With communications and networks being re-established, the spectrum of damage caused by the tropical cyclone to the more isolated parts of New Zealand is becoming more apparent. The New Zealand Beverage Council’s goal is to determine what is required to ensure members and suppliers can keep operating and supplying services to customers nationwide.

Please send relevant information and requests to the New Zealand Beverage Council.

Information can include, but is not limited to:

  • Any information you can share about impacts on your business, both immediate and longer-term
  • What you require to keep your supply lines operating, AND
  • Any offers of help or assistance for your fellow beverage sector whanau.

Belinda Milnes, Director of Government Relations and Public Affairs for the New Zealand Beverage Council, has stated that she will work closely with the Food and Grocery Council to ensure that the sector's needs are considered where possible.
