Just Eat, the United Kingdom’s leading food delivery app, has launched a new partnership with Iceland Foods to bring good quality, affordable food to households across the United Kingdom.
The partnership will launch with over 200 Iceland Foods sites by the end of April, with over 5,000 products available to customers, in locations including London, Manchester, Belfast and Leeds, with plans to roll out to many more cities across 2023.
Customers can access a range of great value items, including everyday essentials and fresh and frozen produce, available on Just Eat. Through the tie-up, shoppers can order items from Iceland Foods for delivery in under 30 minutes via Just Eat.
Just Eat’s grocery estate in the United Kingdom has seen rapid growth, expanding to over 2,500 sites on the platform in the last year to meet consumers' growing demand for convenience grocery. As the nation's largest food delivery platform, Just Eat reaches 97 percent of all United Kingdom's postcodes.
"Our partnership with Iceland Foods is another big step in our grocery delivery journey in the United Kingdom, bringing our customers even more convenient grocery options," said Amy Heather, Director of Strategic Accounts at Just Eat.
Heather shared that Just Eat was excited to partner with Iceland Foods, as the brand champions local communities with stores on high streets nationwide.
Justin Addison, International and Wholesale Director at Iceland Foods, stated that customers were the brand's priority and that the partnership reflected feedback the brand had received from its customers, calling for more convenient access to the brand's products.
"We are excited to partner with Just Eat, enabling us to expand our offering with instant delivery at the click of a button. We strive to support our customers in any way we can, including providing great value, convenient groceries, even when they don’t visit us in-store,” concluded Addison.
