New Zealand’s Most Trusted Supermarket

PAK'nSAVE

PAK'nSAVE has been named the country's most trusted supermarket for the 12th year in a row, according to the latest Reader's Digest New Zealand Trusted Brands survey released April 24th.

The survey, which has been running for 24 years, asked 1,800 Kiwis to rate their favourite brands in over 71 categories of products and services across various industries, ranking values like trustworthiness, quality, reliability and awareness.

PAK'nSAVE, part of the Foodstuffs 100 percent locally owned and operated supermarket cooperatives, scored top marks in its category, with customers commending the supermarket for its range of quality brands and commitment to affordable prices.

Foodstuffs New Zealand Managing Director Chris Quin said trust is essential when feeding New Zealand Families. Serving New Zealanders over the 38 years since the first PAK'nSAVE opened in Kaitaia has been a privilege.

"We know right now, with the cost of living, many New Zealanders are doing it tough and affordability of groceries is their biggest concern," said Quin.

Quin shared that everything that the cooperative did through PAK'nSAVE was to save customers money, which he was glad to see recognised by New Zealanders.

The Managing Director stated that PAK'nSAVE owner-operators and their teams across the country had had a challenging start to the year following the Auckland Anniversary Floods and Cyclone Gabrielle.

"It was a massive team effort to reopen stores and vital goods delivered through damaged roading networks, and I'm hugely proud of PAK'nSAVE and wider Foodstuffs teams."

Quin emphasised that it was heart-warming to see the impact initiatives like PAK Your Pantry have made in supporting local communities, which has donated more than $500,000 to flood-affected families.

From Kaitaia to Invercargill, PAK'nSAVE has 57 stores throughout New Zealand, and Quin reiterated his gratitude for the customer's continued support.

"On behalf of the PAK'nSAVE team, we thank New Zealanders for their continued trust for almost four decades."
